Stay Happy, Be Positive

Sometimes, life gets rough. We've all been there. It could be an unexpected death in the family or a bad score in a test. It makes us feel gloomy, sad and dull. But we CAN get over the bad things in life and move on! Although it seems impossible, we can and we WILL! When we are sad, we tend to think about all the wrong things in life, but we need to stick to the positives. Think about your best friend, your parents, the smell of a new book, Nanny's famous apple pie. Remember the memories that were filled with laughter, joy and peace. Those were the happiest days of our lives. Think of what you are grateful for- food, water, friendship, shelter...

So even if you've had a bad day, try to stay positive and happy. Think of it being a distraction from the thinks that are going wrong in your life. If you want to get out of that bad move- do what you love. Below, is a huge list of things I love to do.

WHAT I LOVE TO DO!

  • Bake a good batch or brownies

  • Read a good book

  • Color and draw

  • Listen to music

  • Do the cup song

  • Have a nice lazy walk in the sunshine

  • Have a picnic by a lake or river

  • Play Monopoly with my parents

  • Talk to my best friend

  • Watch a YouTube DIY video and make something

  • Make a huge dinner and invite your squad

  • Watch a happy, uplifting movie with a batch of popcorn and some cola

  • Binge on Netflix

  • Go to the beach, or go swimming in a pool

  • Play with my dog and cuddle him

  • Online-Window Shop

  • Come up with ideas for how to decorate my room

  • Surf Pinterest and look at quotes

  • Look through photo albums of when I was a baby

  • Watch Full House on rewind

  • Do a bit or karaoke

  • Visit the pets at the local pet shop

  • Watch previous Vlogmas videos on YouTube

These are only some of the things I like to do but you can make a list too! Then, when you feel sad, do the things you love.
