Back to School Essentials

It seems like yesterday that school ended, but for me, it's been more than a month of flamingo floats, mangoes and beaches. Whenever I go back to school, I love to personalize all of my essentials and try to stay organised. Although every school's es sentials are different, here are some basic ones that everyone can use!

Pencil Case

Everyone needs a pencil case when they do go to school. Some of the essentials in the case are:

• Pencils (HB, 2B, and any other artist's pencils you may need)

• Colored Pencils (Faber-Castell have an amazing range of colored pencils)

• Highlighters (I use Stabilo highlighters since they are long lasting and come in a vast range of colours)

• Accessories (Miniature stapler, hole puncher, erasers, sharpeners)

• Fine Liners (Fine liners in black are fine)

• Pens

• Sticky Notes

• Rulers

When organizing your pencil case, wrap an elastic band around your colored pencils etc. If you do have a pencil case with compartments, organize it per subject or similarities. Examples include pencils and pens together.

Binders/Notebooks/Folders

I try to make my binders, notebooks and folders look really beautiful and exquisite. I sometimes decorate them with pictures about the subject it's for, but you can personalize it however you want. Try surfing through Pinterest for ideas. If your folder is an A4 size, you can use Microsoft Word to make a collage or just stick some pictures on. Pinterest has heaps of cute ideas that will make your folder stand out!

Locker Essentials

I always want my locker to look really organised, but to also look awesome. Some things you can do to make your locker be amazing is:

• Hooks (Some hooks are very easy to use, such as ones where you just peel of a sticker from the pack and then stick it in your locker. You can hang your hat and more there)

• Pencil Tins (Store any extra supplies or keep your exam pencil case contents there)

• Girly supplies (moisturizer, lip balm)

• Shelves (keep one for your laptop especially)

• Extra Snacks (just some snacks like dried food, and maybe a bit of chocolate:)

• Miniature bins (found in small one dollar shops etc)

• Drink Bottle

• Spare earphones/headphones

• String lights or fairy lights for good looks

• Timetable

• A fiction book

• Journal or diary if you like

• And in case of emergency or coldness, a jumper or sweater

• Add some cute Polaroid pictures on some string or twine with some adorable clips

• Storage cups or boxes (clips, pins etc.)

• Calendars (cute ones from Typo)
